Mark 6:47-49

⁴⁷ When evening had come, the boat was in the middle of the sea, while he was alone on the land. ⁴⁸ He saw that his disciples^[a] were straining at the oars, because the wind was against them. Shortly before dawn^[b] he came to them, walking on the sea. He intended to go up right beside them, ⁴⁹ but when they saw him walking on the sea, they thought it was a ghost and began to scream.
